Dahae Song - Internal World Explorer

Internal World Explorer is an immersive pop-up installation I curated at The Combine in collaboration with interdisciplinary artist Dahae Song. The project was conceived as a quiet counterpoint to traditional exhibition formats—prioritizing stillness, introspection, and emotional presence over spectacle.

The space was designed as a meditative environment, using a restrained visual language and subtle spatial cues to slow the viewer down and invite inward reflection. Interpretation was intentionally left open, allowing visitors to bring their own internal experiences into the work.

My curatorial approach focused on pacing, spatial flow, and emotional safety, treating the exhibition as a shared experience rather than a static display. The result was a moment of pause—where the gallery functioned as a space for grounding, reflection, and quiet connection.
